In 1987, David was in a motor vehicle accident that altered the trajectory of his life. He suffered a spinal fracture, and two herniated discs that left him depressed, and in constant pain. After two years of ineffective therapies, various pharmaceuticals and overall misery, he tried massage therapy. For the first time in two years, someone actually worked on the source of his pain. It made such a difference, that he decided to become a massage therapist himself, hoping that he could help others the way he had been helped.

After graduating from CCMH in 1993, he began practicing in Mississauga. He has worked in a variety of multidisciplinary clinics, including a hospital rehab centre that specialized in Catastrophically injured patients. He was also an approved practitioner with the National Sports Centre, and had the opportunity to work with some world class athletes, including some Olympians. David considers himself a “General Practitioner” of massage, and prides himself on being able to adapt pressure and techniques in order to tailor his style to benefit almost any individual.

He is not an aggressive therapist, preferring to work problems out, rather than hammer them out.

He relocated to Fergus, Ontario so that he and his wife could finally realize their dream of owning some property, and bringing their horse home. He looks forward to using his 30 years of experience to help people have a better quality of life.
